On June 8, 2016 the Town Board adopted a local law amending the Town Zoning Law – Section 100.  Please see the Zoning Resources of the Town website for additional details.

The regularly scheduled Planning Board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 7:00PM in the Fremont Town Meeting Room has been cancelled due to a lack of agenda items. The next regularly schedule meeting is Wednesday, June 22nd. Contact the Planning Board Chairman, Jim Smith, if you have a project or application you would like to bring before the board.

“The 25th Anniversary of the Persian Gulf War”

The Grand Army of the Republic first organized a Memorial Day Parade in the Town of Fremont to honor those who served in the Civil War. The tradition of honoring all the men and women who have served our country, many of whom made the ultimate sacrifice, will continue with this, the 132nd Fremont Memorial Day Parade and ceremonies.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Fremont, Town Board will hold a public hearing beginning at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in the Town Meeting Room, 11 County Road 95 in Fremont, NY, to hear comments on proposed modifications to Section 100 of the Town of Fremont Zoning Law.

The proposed changes, including a draft of the proposed Section 100.29 Solar Law, are available on the Town of Fremont Website http://www.fremontny.org/resources.shtml

The 2016 Tentative Assessment Roll has been released and is attached. If you have questions please see the Assessor’s page on the Town website – http://www.fremontny.org/assessor.shtml – or contact the Assessor.
